This website uses Google Analytics 4 to analyze usage. Google Analytics collects measurement data such as page views to help us understand which pages are read and improve our content and usability.

Examples of information collected

• URLs of pages you visit and where you came from (referrer)
• Approximate location (country/region level)
• Visit time, time on page, and device/browser type
• A randomly generated identifier (a cookie or similar device identifier)

Purpose

• Understand which articles and pages are most read
• Infer what information readers need and improve it
• Detect technical issues on the site

We do not use this information to identify you personally. See Google's official documentation for details on how Google Analytics processes data.

On English pages, a small notice appears at the bottom of the screen on your first visit and asks for your consent to access analytics. On Japanese pages no notice is shown, and analytics are enabled unless you explicitly decline. If you decline in either language, the choice is respected on pages in the other language as well.

You can review or change your analytics consent at any time using the controls below.

We do not run advertising. We never use collected information for advertising or ad personalization, and the relevant settings are always disabled (declined).

The contact form (/en/#contact) asks you to submit the following information.

• Your name
• Your reply-to email address
• Subject
• Your message

Purpose

We use this information only to review your message and reply to you.

Storage

We do not store contact form submissions in this website's database. Your submission is delivered to the operator by email and used for review and replies. This policy does not specify operational details such as how long received emails are retained on the mail system.

Before sending, you review this Privacy Policy and agree to it.

Icon Fit sends an image to our server only when you select “Share this round icon.” The image is processed to 512px in your browser and displayed in the public gallery. Your original selected image is not uploaded.

To prevent repeated submissions and abuse of storage capacity, we temporarily process:

• Your IP address transformed with a salted hash
• A randomly generated browser identifier
• A hash of the shared image
• Submission timestamps

We use this information only for submission limits and duplicate prevention. We do not store the raw IP address with the image, and control data is kept temporarily in server-process memory. The browser identifier is stored in local storage and can be removed by clearing this site's browser data.

We may update this policy as legal requirements or our services change. If there is an important change, we will announce it on this page.
