Supports 0.05–5.0×. The display is an illustrative diagram, not a measured value. In UC mode, pointer adjustments follow standard macOS behavior.

Screen borders become

A dedicated mode aligned with macOS Universal Control. Keep button, combo, and scroll customization while moving across screen edges.

In UC mode, pointer speed, acceleration, axis lock, and axis inversion follow standard macOS behavior. It is not a settings-sync feature between Macs. See the guide for requirements and KensingtonWorks notes.

Before you begin
on your Mac.

Combox lives in your Mac’s menu bar.
Check the environment and permissions you’ll need.
Distribution is in preparation.

  1. Check the supported device

    Kensington SlimBlade Pro
    The device supported by the current implementation. Generic mouse support is not offered.

  2. A Mac on macOS 13 or later

    Universal Control also requires a supported macOS environment and settings.

  3. Allow Accessibility and Input Monitoring

    Used to receive input and run your assigned actions. The guide walks through the setup.

Which trackballs work with Combox?

The current implementation targets the Kensington SlimBlade Pro. It detects the device IDs for USB wired, Bluetooth, and USB receiver connections. Generic support for other mice or trackballs is not offered.

Do all settings work during Universal Control?

Button assignments, long press, combos, drag, scroll adjustments, and app profiles are covered. Pointer speed, acceleration, axis lock, and axis inversion follow standard macOS behavior. It is not a feature that syncs settings to the other Mac.

Can I use it alongside KensingtonWorks?

To use the top-left and top-right buttons in UC mode, keep KensingtonWorks at its defaults (top-left = middle click, top-right = back). Other assignments may prevent input from reaching Combox. The guide covers the details.

Can I move my settings to another Mac?

Export settings to a JSON file and import it on another machine. It is not automatic sync. Importing overwrites the current settings, so back them up first.

Where can I download Combox?

Distribution is in preparation. No download links or pricing are listed until confirmed. Start with the user guide for features and first-time setup.
