A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
A few things to know.
Can I download it now?
Clatch is being prepared for release. Distribution, the release date and sync pricing will be announced then. The guide shows how everything works.
Do I need an account or Touch ID?
No account is needed for local use. Authenticate with Touch ID or your Mac login password; Clatch never stores that password.
Does Private URL work in every browser?
Support varies by browser and profile; you can check capabilities in Clatch’s settings. When private launch is unavailable, it never silently falls back to a normal window.
Is everything I copy synced?
History text, images, files and rich text sync. Sensitive copies never enter history and do not sync. Opening an underlying file on another Mac is not guaranteed.
Can I back up my data?
Export a locally encrypted backup protected by a dedicated password from settings. Appearance settings and background images are outside the current backup. See the guide for details.
