OnAI announced on June 11 that it has agreed to acquire Ona, a startup offering cloud services for AI agents. The acquisition price was not disclosed. Ona's team is set to join OpenAI's Codex project, with the aim of strengthening the company's AI coding tool infrastructure.
According to OpenAI, its Codex AI coding tools are currently used by more than 5 million people each week. Ona's expertise in running and managing agents in the cloud is expected to serve as a foundation for evolving Codex from a mere code generation tool into a more autonomous development assistance platform.
Anthropic × DXC Technology: Accelerating Claude Deployment in Regulated Industries
Anthropic has announced a multi-year global partnership with DXC Technology. DXC is one of the world's largest IT services companies, operating mission-critical systems for banking, aviation, insurance, manufacturing, and government agencies.
The key point of this partnership is that DXC will train tens of thousands of "Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDE)" certified through the Anthropic Academy to embed Claude directly into customers' systems. Notably, DXC has already leveraged Claude in developing its own platform, "OASIS," with more than 95% of the code generated by Claude.
